FAQ

Which countries does PriceCheck support?
Currently, the engine is optimized for major US-based retailers, but I’m actively working on expanding global coverage.
Can I request a specific store to be added?
Absolutely. I build this based on what you need. Head to the Support page in the sidebar to suggest a store or vote on what I should scrape next.
Why don’t I see every single store for every product?
I prioritize verified data from major retailers to protect deal integrity. If a store is known for fake listings or unreliable pricing, I won’t show it here.
Can I compare a whole shopping list at once?
The best way to do this is by adding items to your Shortlist. This lets you see your whole setup in one view and track total costs side by side.
If you don't take referral cuts or sell data, how does PriceCheck actually make money?
Right now, it doesn't. Running the servers and databases to track all this data is expensive, and I'm currently paying for it out of pocket. To make the project sustainable without selling out, we're building PriceCheck+, an optional premium tier with advanced tools like PriceAI to help cover the costs.
Is there a mobile app or browser extension?
Yes. Grab the extension via the Get Extension button in the top right to check prices while you browse other sites. iOS app coming soon!
How does Research help me?
Research shows you the price history of a product so you can tell if a sale is actually a good deal or just a marketing trick.
How is PriceCheck different from Honey or other trackers?
Most trackers are owned by billionaires or the retailers themselves. PriceCheck is independent, takes zero referral cuts, and never nudges you toward a specific store for a commission.
Do you sell my data to train AI or advertisers?
Never. I do not use your personal search data to train models and I do not sell it to third-party brokers.
How can I support the project?
Since I don’t take referral fees or run ads, the best way to help is by telling a friend or reporting bugs on the Support board.
